Hard Top 4p.  type : Ford Eurec Emperor - Airco The Ford Eurec Emperor-Airco Campervan (4-berth) models are spacious but still compact and therefore very suitable for the European roads, which are usualy narrower and smaller then on other Continents. Although these campervans are compact on the outside, they're more then 'roomy' enough to comfortably sleep- and live in for weeks in a row... There are seatbelts / seats and sleeping accommodation for 4 people. The turbo diesel engines are very fuel economical (12km/ltr - 30mls/gallon is possible), keeping the 'running costs' to a minimum. An excellent choise for travellers on a budget, lesser experienced motorhomedrivers and for instance for younger couples with (or without) children. Kids usualy love the upper berth !, which will be their 'home-away-from-home' for days, weeks or months even, providing something familiar, even if the scenery constantly changes...   Engine : 4-cil, Turbo Diesel Intercooler Commonrail - 100HP Transmission : 5-speed, manual Fuel : diesel (least expensive fuel here) Topspeed : approx. 140km / hr. Renters may reduce the €  2,500 colllision deductible to € 750 per occurrence by purchasing a "D.D.R." (Damage Deductible Reducer)  at a cost of € 8 per day (not available for renters under the age of 25). The 'D.D.R' also include a reduced deductible of € 250 per occurrence for windshield and other glass damage. If an accident occurs, Renters must produce an on-scene police report. Because "Off Road" accidents (for instance on campsites) can easily be prevented by driving slowly and having someone outside the vehicle to guide the driver in "tight" conditions, the D.D.R does not cover off road accidents. Interior damage other then normal wear, deliberate and/or willful damages by the Renter are never included in any insurance. Also not covered are damages caused while driving under the influence of alcohol, medication and/or illegal drugs, damages due to failing to maintain proper fluid levels in engine, transmission, etc...tire pressure and due to the misuse of the breaking system (overheating) and or the transmission (overdrive), damages from driving in prohibited area's.     Available extra's ; * Personal Convenience Kit, Euro € 25,- per person.
